PM189 Immigrants Can Excel
Unique ceramic mug hand thrown by the maker on a pottery wheel from a buff stoneware clay. After glazing, it was fired in a kiln to over 2,000 degrees. Due to the hand made nature of this product, there may be minor imperfections which would not affect its functionality.
The primary colors are brown and blue from a combination of glazes. There is a bee on one side and the handle is textured like a honeycomb. It holds at least 8 oz of coffee. It is approximately 3.5" tall.
This is a protest mug. On the bottom are the words "Immigrants Can Excel" and you can draw your own conclusions about what it actually means. The maker is using her constitutional right to free speech to protest the current political regime via her art. You get to have it both ways. A beautiful piece of pottery and knowing that you are also subtly protesting.
